Dr. Sean Gimbert

Dr. Sean Gimbert has been passionate for healthcare for decades.  He first began developing his skills as a Emergency Service Provider where he served on a volunteer rescue squad.  He was certified to drive ambulances and responded to calls in the community.  During his time as an EMT, he attended Virginia Tech where he majored in Psychology with a focus in Medicine and Society.  It was during this time he sharpened his knowledge of our healthcare system and continued to explore different career options.  It was near the end of his Undergraduate program he decided to pursue a degree in Chiropractic at the Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus.

At Palmer, Dr. Gimbert served in many organizations, including Campus Guides and The Grostic Procedure Club.  During his clinical training he served as a Radiology Assistant and spent many hours honing his ability to conduct high quality imaging studies. He has completed more than 4,000 hours of study and has passed rigorous testing in order to be licensed. At Graduation, he was given the prestigious honor of receiving the Virgil Strang Philosophy Award for exemplifying the tenants of his profession’s philosophical foundation.

Dr. Gimbert continues to pursue further knowledge by attending various seminars throughout the country in order to deliver high quality patient care.

Dr. Allison Dawkins

Dr. Allison Dawkins’ dream of becoming a chiropractor began at the age of 10. From a young age she suffered through year-round allergies that were not longer relieved with medicine. Her family brought her to a chiropractor that was able to alleviate her symptoms and forever changed the way she looked at healthcare.

From a small town named Effingham, Illinois, Dr. Allison began her chiropractic path by shadowing and working summers at her chiropractor’s office. Seeing patient’s come into the office in pain and walking out the doors relieved from their pain helped cultivate Dr. Allison’s passion for chiropractic care.

After receiving her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, she moved to sunny Port Orange, Florida to study chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While at Palmer, she joined organizations such as the Florida Chiropractic Association, The Grostic Procedure Club, Pediatric Club, and served as Vice President to the Student Council. She, like Dr. Gimbert, has completed more than 4,000 hours of study and has passed National Board Examinations in order to be licensed. Dr. Allison graduated from Palmer College cum Laude.

While interning in Sanford, FL, Dr. Allison studied in a pediatric office where her passion for working with children and mothers grew. She brings a focus of pre-natal, pediatric, and women’s care to New Spring Chiropractic.

Dr. Ernesto Fernandez

Dr. Ernesto Fernandez was born in Havana, Cuba in 1990 and was raised in Sarasota Florida. He received a B.S. degree in Sports and Exercise Physiology from the University of Central Florida in 2014 and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2017 from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. Dr. Fernandez grew up with a passion for strength and conditioning concepts and functional movement.

Dr. Ernesto has 7 years of experience in functional exercise and strives for knowledge on the latest competitive edge in strength and athletics. Throughout his graduate studies at Palmer he developed a new compelling passion for the chiropractic philosophy. He spent the rest of his graduate career studying neurology, anatomy, and the biomechanics of the upper cervical spine and how it relates to the body’s ability to adapt, heal, and function at the highest level. Currently, he is experienced with the Grostic and Orthospinology structural correction procedures and is consistently reviewing scientific literature on how the structural integrity of the spine influences nervous system physiology. He also has a passion for clinical nutrition and all other vitalistic aspects of health.

His vision is to bring a unique and precise form of structural chiropractic to the Palm Coast community to help those with complex health conditions that can’t seem to find help anywhere else.
